Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Environmental Justice StoryMap

This StoryMap is part of the award-winning CO Environmental Justice Storytelling Project, which shares qualitative data (stories) from communities to inform better inform decision makers about community desires and to accompany the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)’s quantitative mapping tool, EnviroScreen.

The Ute Mountain Ute StoryMap was led by Warren Cook, Associate Director of the SAS Lab. Co-designed with Anthony Albidrez along with assistance from Marjorie Connolly, UMU Climate Change Program Coordinator. Special thanks to Regina Lopez-Whiteskunk and Trent Ute for sharing their stories.
